Less Painful than Kicking Garbage Cans

look, you and I both know the truth
how you treated me was entirely uncouth
the, daily, way you showed Tshaw and Pam
they’re the only ones for whom you gave a damn
giving them continual preferential treatment
while showing the entire class that I meant
about as much to you as a brutal anal tare
like I was some pain in your ass, which was so unfair
I mean, what did I ever do to you Andrea?
I was always nice and honest any time I dealt with ya
I may not stoop to kissing your ass, but hey
it’s nothing personal; it’s never been my way
seriously, I tried to explain everything in that email
told you many things I’ve learned so you wouldn’t fail
not that I know everything there is to know
but I have a lot to offer to those who want to grow
your disdain for me started on that very first day
it started out subtle, but you went too far Friday
you know exactly what you did; Angie does as well
but, you’ll both still be important when you get to hell
you shouldn’t take this poem as a compliment
this was done for my sanity; it’s the safest way I can vent

The Truth Shall Set Me Free while Karmic Justice Imprisons You

I awoke, suddenly, early this morning
asleep long enough for another warning
another prophetic dream was transmitted
prepared me for a day I’d rather be omitted
showing me in detail that I was the target
of a group of women at work who I’d just met
they joined together trying to get me fired
how can people be so hatefully wired?
I’d understand if I tried to hurt them intentionally
but they were going out of their way literally
fabricating and taking truth out of context
before I started work I knew what was coming next
if any of them actually knew who I was “for real”
things I’m able to do directing emotions I feel
they may not be so obsessed with bringing harm
to this innately gifted woman known to charm,
summon and communicate with Universal Forces
mastering every gift given her without any courses
you see, lately, it’s not even up to me what happens
to anyone intentionally hurting me it just depends
since the decision comes from the Infinitely Divine
but one thing I’ve noticed is that it’s perfectly timed
personally, I like that I don’t have to do a damn thing
to bring about the Karmic justice; I just see the sting
but, if I’m being totally honest about how I really feel
I’d make sure each one of them knew the whole deal
I mean, when they were handed their just dessert
they’d know from whence it came and who they’d hurt
not for reasons of ego, vanity or anything unhealthy
it’s, just, the only way to ensure that the opportunity
for their ability to learn concepts of universal laws
science and Spirit conjoined as Divine Truth because
both Physics and Karma factually state that every action
creates an equal or greater reaction; brings me satisfaction
I may have left work in lots of emotional and physical pain
but if things continue as normal I will likely have to refrain
from celebrating justice being served once the circle
of what goes and comes around lights my crown purple
to be perfectly clear, I take no joy from another’s pain
I, do, find joy with the progress of another human being

Feed Your Brain with both Hands

let’s feed your brain with both hands
don’t snap your wrist with rubber bands
because I’m unable to comprehend
I just can’t seem to understand
why so many people hate upon me
it really is, just, so fucking crazy
considering they don’t even know me
hatred’s all I ever get given freely
don’t they know how lucky they’d be
to spend quality time in my company?
despite the hard exterior they see
I’m full of kindness and generosity
quit projecting your own shit on me
look deep within yourself honestly
if you’re successful you’ll finally see
everything that made you all hate me
was owned by each of you entirely
now that you’re able to see things clearly
I invite you to pull up a chair beside me
I don’t expect to be liked by everybody
but as long as we converse honestly
I’ve no doubt that most of you will see
I was never unkind nor out to make enemies
all I have is love for you and I give it freely

Moving His Mouth to Tell all those Lies

“there are no ties to Russia..
there’s been no collusion..”
are you still, “loving email” Donny
I know your brain’s one big contusion
but just cuz you’re fucking stupid
doesn’t mean you’ve caused confusion
amongst us who’d never vote trump
because we’re this country’s solution
unlike your paranoid, devoted base
we don’t fall prey to your delusions
I wanna thank you for being corrupt
you can take credit for the revolution
we all knew you were unfit for the job
from day one you’ve caused demonstrations
you’re a reckless, dangerous, greedy fuck
effortlessly destroying this nation
like Putin we all know you’re just a tool
we don’t even have your full concentration
tell me, after two and a half hours with Putin
did he climax after full penetration?
I bet he gave you the “golden shower”
on the “pee-tape” he has in his possession
I mean, a closeted, gay love affair
would, definitely, explain your weird obsession
with him and all the other “powerful” dick-taters
never seen a narcissist with more infatuation
for any face that isn’t his own within the mirror
but a soulless vampire, like you, has no reflection
you've alienated us from all of our allies
with your gift of mental masturbation
like a monkey you're flinging your own shit
it's a twitter-shitter storm causing the situation
Don Jr's, truly, the apple that didn't fall far
from the tree of "no-knowledge" he's your creation
showing a genetic predisposition for self-harm
a perpetual need to cause devastation
so unpredictable that you're predictable
I predict a slaughter in the next election

The Walls that Kept Me Safe

I, really, don’t know where I should start
not, even, a surgeon could find my heart
I displayed selfishness as a work of art
built impenetrable walls, but they fell apart
the moment I gave birth as a new mother
I was, always, really close with my big brother
had a great relationship with both older sisters
then I made a mistake getting too close to a mister
my beautiful walls couldn’t be rebuilt
even with so much irreconcilable guilt
despite needing the safety of a shield
I’m, still, a mom with an innate curse to feel
I wish I could change the way people are
but, it is what it is, and life’s become too hard
way, too deep are my numerous scars
still, each night I gaze upon the stars
I wasn’t really selfish; generous was the real me
to whom I showed it was a choice I made freely
most people never seem to understand me
they’re all fake; they don’t know how to, just, “be”
frankly, I’m sick and tired of explaining
and, even with my son, I hated potty training
but, with adults who are stuck and remaining
childish pricks pointing fingers and love public shaming
I’m sick of all the pain that I continue to feel
being told to “shut up” is a big fucking deal
when it’s my son who won’t let me begin to be “real”
if my, own, son has no capacity within him to feel
whenever those feelings slightly pertain to me
things everyone needs; compassion, love and empathy
I’m not asking too much so why continue to “be”?
all I want is to be loved, just, for being me

The Poser Poet

As I read through the NY Times article posted on Twitter about Fiona Apple's "ten word chant," which she created for the women who'll be marching in D.C. in protest of DJT, I came across an apparent Juggalo poet (remember, my definition of Juggalo refers to the political Insane Clown Posse). The poet-juggalo's name is Joseph Charles McKenzie and the article included an "in part" version of the poem he wrote in support of the PE. According to the article "the poet wrote a poem praising the PE and his Scottish heritage. The poem refers to Mr. Trump as 'the Domhall,' the Scottish form of his first name."

What "The New York Times" printed for that partial poem was as follows:

"When crippling corruption polluted our nation
And plunged our economy into stagnation
As self-righteous rogues took the opulent office
And plump politicians reneged on their promise
The forgotten continued to form a great crowd
That defended the Domhall, the best of McLeod!"

That (sell-out) poet and the printed portion of his poem is the reason for this (my) latest, in what will certainly be a very long stream, of rants with the incoming president. Yes, I referred to McKenzie as a sell-out. Why? Because artists, in general, are liberal for many reasons. One of the reasons being that 99% of them have endured many, painful struggles. I'm sure everyone's familiar with the term "starving artist," right? Well, it's because nearly all artists have know real poverty while in pursuit of their dreams. In the case of poets, especially, most live out their entire lives with little to no financial success or even any real notoriety.

That's why nearly all artist (those who've achieved success and those who died without any success both) support the Democratic party, which is the party whose fundamental ideas involve social policies and programs that help the poor, sick, disabled, disenfranchised, women's rights and all others that republicans continually defund or try to eliminate.

So, yeah, if he supports Trump he's either not a real poet or he's not very studious. Either way, and even if I didn't despise Trump, I don't see anything exceptional about that poem (even if it is only a portion of the actual poem). I make that statement fully aware that I have written and posted more than my fair share of "shit work." It's because I'm aware of my own ability that gives me a feeling, nay, a knowing that I'm not out of line with my opinion.

A Tribute to President Obama and His Legacy

I know President Obama is way too composed, calm and methodical with his approach to addressing the public so I have stepped in to tell the world what he is too humble to say in the way he has held himself back from speaking out loud. To all of the republicans who made it their only priority to ensure that the first Black President would not succeed (to such an extent that they would, literally, shut the federal government down at the expense of the American people). I selected the song "Legacy" by Eminem to represent the legacy of the first African-American President of the United States of America. I didn't choose it because Eminem is a rapper and President Obama is black. I chose Eminem's "Legacy" because President Obama has set the bar extremely high for all presidents to come - not despite being a black man, but despite the closet-racism exercised against him by legislative republicans. The youtube video of "Legacy" that I chose isn't the normal music video, rather it is a video that shows the lyrics as they are being sung. That way those of you who don't know the lyrics or haven't ever heard the song will be able to know the synergy between the song's lyrics and the elements that President Obama was forced to endure from the GOP.

Mr. President, sir, I have seen you for who you (truly) are and I am so sorry that the "bullies on the playground" hated you from day one because you were black and more intelligent than they, as the entitled white men they are, would ever be. Then to add insult to their injury (of your winning) you weren't, just, far more intelligent than they'd ever be - you had more integrity, reserve, honesty and every other positive personality trait coupled with moral values. None of them would ever admit openly the real reason that they would rather destroy the country and American people than assist in (even) a sliver of your success; which was, is and will forever be because you aren't merely a black man - as the first African-American President you would set the stage for every election to follow.

They had to make certain that you'd fail at everything (to hell with the consequences) because if you were able to have even one success during your presidency it would show the world that "manifest destiny" is (and has always been) white supremacy bull shit. To quote Donald M. Scott's article for The National Humanities Center in New York, "Manifest Destiny was also clearly a racial doctrine of white supremacy that granted no Native American or non-white claims to any permanent possession of the lands on the North American continent and justified white American exploration of Indian lands." Sorry for the long rant, but believe me it could be even longer with everything I'd like to vent to this nation's home-grown threat towards human decency, social policy and programs, foreign policy and diplomacy, etc.

Mr. President, sir, I am so sorry; not only for you, personally, but for all Americans who are affected by the GOP putting partisan politics before the American people. Sir, I will miss you greatly (even if DJT hadn't won the election, but especially since he has won - if that makes sense). You accomplished so much in the last eight years - more than any president in my lifetime and you did it with such class, reserve, humor and all while putting the "koo" in "cool."  Yes we can and YES YOU DID!

Listlessness plus Apathy Equals Disaster

our movement's become listless
too many people have missed this
the clenching of our fists
buckle up now because I'm pissed
an incredulous narcissist
whose prejudice was so obvious
with which he never digressed
in fact, he won with this

disturbing is the apathy
I'm seeing all around me
securing their victory
even freedom has a fee
they're getting ours for free
don't take this so lightly
prosecute this robbery
without an apology

their motives are ugly
it's white supremecy
it's manifest destiny
using national security
to obscure their agenda
it's perpetual propaganda
using cliff notes from Russia
they made sanity a pariah

he kept saying, "the system's rigged"
he kept calling her "crooked"
his loyals are hooded
their motives are lurid
yet majorly supported
amongst the most putrid
the results will be horrid

with conflicts of interest
he's growing his business
without any laws to stop this
they put the shame in shameless
both the senate and congress
ensure a smooth process
with rolling back all our progress
leaving behind an enormous mess

assuming there's anything left
by this conman who's very deft
in all aspects of white collar theft
I wouldn't hold my breath

trump Looks into a Mirror when he Speaks

insane, deranged narcissist
a fascist with a very short list
everything he’s shouting out
to the sheep following without
educating themselves with facts
believing all his lies, they react
with blind ignorance they obey
his philosophy comes from the KKK
those who deny his unstable behavior
are the same people who didn’t favor
his being their party’s nominee
liberals have always known the GOP
is filled with “good ole boy” Nazis
some in white cloaks so we can’t see
their face, as if we can’t tell their identity
by their prejudicial, discriminatory policies
refusal to do their jobs shows hypocrisy
they say, “everyone who’s poor chooses to be”
“poor people don’t want work, they’re lazy”
blaming their mistakes on President Obama
trump telling protestors “go home to mama”
threatening to jail the opposition’s nominee
continually referring to her as “crooked Hillary”
shouting fictional propaganda at his rallies
when his polls drop from the peaks to the valleys
he starts screaming about a rigged system
he’s a “whiney little bitch,” let’s bitch-slap him
it’s not too late to end his campaign of hatred
let’s vote out the xenophobes and the inbred
ignorant who want to remove all progress
Obama made without the help of congress
vote democrat straight down the ballet
exterminate divisive hate, it’s time to end it

The Newer World Order

what the fuck is going on?
police are doing everything wrong
people are killed for being black
putting this country on the map
for insanity and racist crap
look at the republican nominee
that orangutan hit the lottery
he doesn’t represent you or me
mother fucker spitting debris
reckless haters are going to hate
because we’re everything they ain’t
let’s show that monkey and the pigs
that cosmic justice still lives and gives
ten times the pain that was given
especially when it’s being driven
like the nails through the flesh of Jesus
ripping and tearing their flesh to please us
because the crucifixion we’re creating
is designed to prevent racism from mating
rejecting ideals of manifest destiny
from procreating its deadly insanity
has humanity really evolved?
when all progress devolves
into lizard brain actions and policies
they’ve yet to get the best of me
that chimp and the fucking police
need to be exterminated swiftly
I urge my brothers and sisters, come with me
let’s enforce universal laws that don’t see
status, color, gender or sexuality
our creator created us all to be free
to live and breathe without worry
of such petty fucking things so join me
in love and in life without borders
we’ll call it the newer world order

Don’t Cry or Complain

I don’t expect you to understand
how this world is not a wonderland
the way pain, strife and injustice lurk
fucked up men made me berserk
the way I miss my boy
everything that robbed my joy
the hurtful things done to me
by everyone, including my family
it’s as if my life started off so great
that my punishment is to deteriorate
I made millions in my twenties
partied it all away, every penny
in my thirties I lived upper middle class
by forty-one I was laid out, flat on my ass
no more high plateaus to look out upon
a deep hole keeping me from
climbing out in order to start again
only foes, no more fake or real friends
not one mother fucker trying to pretend
they give a shit about my inevitable end
no more prayers to save me from myself
just a continual and persistent living hell
little does any friend or foe happen to know
I have been to hell and scared the devil so
it’s never too late for me to be a hero
saving myself and my son from the egos
of all the haters who tried to destroy us
my gloves are off so I can show what I must
to anyone who thought they were more dangerous
go ahead fucktard, scream at me and cuss
because you cannot get the best of us
I’ve fought my entire life so bring it
just don’t cry or complain when you eat shit

Back to School

what the..
why do ya?
fuck it, never mind
you’re so blind
can’t see that it’s not my
way, this way isn’t right
living in fight or flight
it happened despite
all I did to change it
my life is shit
just wanna quit
and why shouldn’t I?
can’t think of one reason why
because my reason is gone
like everyone I ever counted on
without a goodbye
wish I could die
but, suicide, like everything
else that meant anything
I couldn’t get it right
a failure at life I might
as well be gone
I keep asking God if I’m done
out of places to run
life hasn’t been fun
for a very long time
I’m not welcome at the grind
I can’t seem to find
a job, like a leprechaun
it’s a fairy tale
don’t ask and I won’t tell
you how shitty life has become
now, go on and run
back to your perfect life
after you stick your dull knife
into my back as I lean in for a hug
as you sit back and judge with a shrug
of your shoulders and a damning look
on your face – I’m the baby that you shook
then, afterward, you had the nerve
to ask what’s the matter with me like I deserve
the ass-kicking life’s given me
still, every day I get on my knees
and thank God for giving me
my son who’s the best thing
yes, he is a blessing
don’t keep testing me
my cross is way too heavy
for me to carry – it’s a levy
stick with what you know
should I go back to selling blow?
jack myself up on heroin
is that the reason I’m in
debt to this life and cannot die?
is it because I used to defy
the laws and rules of society
is that the person you want me to be
it seems as if that’s the way
you want me to live and play
ever since I found sobriety
the world’s been kicking the shit out of me
there’s no sign, for certain, it will stop
I blew it like a huge belly-flop
I jumped off the highest board
as I fell I felt so ignored
nobody wants to see me be successful
they are much more amused with pitiful
I’ve had enough of this shit, so painful
so put your glasses on, I’m making a spectacle
crank the music up and get an earful
while I yell and whale this rhyme be thankful
I don’t turn my rage on all of you
who don’t give a fuck about me, it’s true
I was your entertainment the whole time
but I never made a fucking dime
while exposing everything without knowing
that your television sets were showing
my meltdown publically displaying
the pain that was caused me, I’m praying
for a sliver of justice to be brought to me
for every fucking thing you took, we’ll see
if the laws of the universe
are just or just perverse
is there anyone else that you hate worse
than me? keep reading my curse
to you who have no love inside
there’s nowhere you can hide
my words will find every one of you
don’t act innocent, you fuck, you knew
exactly what you were doing when you did it
you can all eat a giant bag of shit
while you suck the devil’s dick
you are a worthless bunch of pricks
I’m sorry and I forgive you – every one
not for you, for me, the damage is done
I release you and myself from the rest
of whatever was to come and hope the best
of what this life has to offer anyone
just know that I was the one
who took the beating of a life time
and, still, turned out just fine
I’m done with this dance
there’ll be no more chances
so take a bow for your part you played
while I cash the check that’s made
payable to cash by you
and the rest of the cast that blew
someone else more important than you
I just assumed that you knew
you were replaced by a bigger tool
you’re being sent back to school
to learn how to play with others better
now I can watch you try to hold it together
you can entertain me now you fool
as you get taken back to school
